It was the first time for China to be the host of high-level international military sporting events, therefore the opening and closing ceremony of the Military World Games became significant. The whole producing process contains world class performances and contents, that cost more than two years to be accomplished.
In terms of stage technology, the opening ceremony reached the goal of making full use of the limited space. Large area of projection mapping was being used combined with lighting effect and LED display in order to illustrate modern Chinese perspective of fine art. By expanding the stage multi-dimensionally with uses of new technology, interacting with multimedia images, the visual impact has been successfully made towards the audience.
